About Maxx
Meet Maxx, a lively and striking dog who embodies the lively spirit of an Alaskan Malamute in a unique, less-fluffy package. At just one year old and weighing around 75 pounds, he’s ready to bring his loyal and playful nature to a new forever home. Maxx boasts a charming personality. He enjoys plush toys and squeakers, loves to admire himself in the mirror, and has a surprisingly good shot for a game of basketball. Though he values his independence and personal space, he jumps at the chance to lend a helping paw—be it pushing doors open to help with groceries or surprisingly ringing the doorbell. His heartwarming welcome at the door is sure to make anyone feel loved. Thanks to his foster family, Maxx comes with a solid foundation. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'stop.' He adores his walks and is refining his leash manners. He’s best suited for a confident walker to help him continue this training. Maxx has been good with older children and shows curiosity towards other dogs he meets on walks. He’s eager for an active and patient family who can provide the love and structure he needs. If you’re looking for a devoted companion, inquire about Maxx today! Maxx is currently in Houston, TX and can be transported to most states for an additional fee.
