About Damon
Damon was saved alongside his sister, Ruby, back in 2018, where they faced neglect. They were living on chains, abandoned and hungry before being rescued by Tunica Humane Society. Now around 8-9 years old, Damon is a large, gentle giant weighing 80 lbs. He adores petting and leans into affection, eyes often closing in bliss. He thrives in a quiet environment and prefers cozy couch time over play dates with other dogs. In fact, he's never been keen on getting too close to fellow shelter dogs, showing a clear preference for human companionship. Damon brings a sense of calm to those around him, making every moment special. He enjoys the happiness he finds at the shelter but deserves a home where he can bask in undivided attention. With the capacity to love deeply, Damon truly longs for a forever family that can cherish his gentle nature.
