About Melvin Montese

Meet Melvin Montese, a delightful four-year-old pup that truly embodies the saying, "Best. Dog. Ever." This charming mixed-breed is all about bringing joy and laughter to your life. Melvin came to his foster care after some tough times, but he's well on the mend post-surgery for a minor urinary issue. You’ll find him mostly lounging around, quietly following his foster around without causing a fuss. He’s a model housemate—no counter surfing or trash diving, and he's completely house and crate trained. While he loves the backyard and car rides, he’s still gaining confidence in the outside world. Melvin has learned to respond positively to treats in potentially stressful situations, like passing other dogs or joggers, and he's made great progress in his neighborhood walks. This lovable guy gets along well with other dogs, making him a good fit for homes with canine companions.
