About Tyson
Meet Tyson, the charming senior Chihuahua with a personality as big as his heart. At 16 years old and weighing just 5 pounds, Tyson has transitioned to life in a loving foster home after spending his entire life with one owner. It might take a little while to earn his trust, but once you do, you’ll discover a loyal companion who enjoys his own space. Tyson is sociable with other dogs and enjoys the company of adults and teenagers, although he’s not one to cling to your side. He loves brief play sessions that involve a playful chase but doesn’t require constant attention. When relaxation strikes, you can find him napping on your lap or lounging beside you. This little foodie has a unique palate—he prefers prescription k/d kibble and the occasional chicken nugget over gourmet meals. Tyson’s mild eyesight and hearing might not be what they used to be, but he still loves eye contact and appreciates your company. He’s surprisingly cooperative during bath time and makes a delightful sight with his joyful zoomies afterward. Outside, he enjoys sunbathing and rolling around in the grass during potty breaks. Tyson is looking for someone who appreciates his independent spirit and is willing to build a relationship based on patience and respect. Ready to welcome this adorable gentleman into your home?
