About Misty
Misty is a young hound mix, just over a year old, with a lovely and calm demeanor. She arrived at the shelter when her previous family couldn't keep her, and since then, she has been spreading joy wherever she goes. At the shelter, Misty has thrived around other dogs, showcasing her friendly nature, which makes her a great potential companion for homes with other canine friends. We're still learning about her interactions with cats and children, so taking things slow for introductions is essential. While she's not house or crate trained yet, Misty is an intelligent girl with plenty of potential. With some patience, consistency, and affection, she will quickly adapt to her new home. She's had her first set of vaccinations, deworming, and flea and tick treatments, and is heartworm negative—good news for her future adventures! Misty will need to be spayed before she can find her forever home. Now is a great time to adopt her as her fee is only $70 during our Empty the Shelters Event. Don’t miss out on welcoming this sweet girl into your life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
