While she is not yet altered or vaccinated, all dogs at the shelter will receive these services before adoption. Genoa will be a wonderful companion in her new home.

Genoa is new at the shelter and ready to find her forever home! This young female Pit Bull Terrier has a charming mix of yellow and white fur, making her a standout. While we’re still getting to know her personality, you can expect her to be sweet and eager for affection once settled. All dogs, including Genoa, will be spayed and vaccinated before adoption, ensuring she starts her new life healthy and happy. If you’re planning to adopt, please arrive before 5:30 PM to have sufficient time to meet her. Chicago Animal Care and Control invites all household members to come, especially those under 18, to ensure everyone connects with Genoa. If you have a current dog, we can facilitate a meet and greet to help them get acquainted in a comfortable environment. Your future best friend is waiting!
