His previous owner is unable to care for him anymore due to health reasons, and they are heartbroken to part with their loyal companion. Harlan is well-maintained, having a clean bill of health from his last vet checkup. He’s up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. Though he can be a bit cautious around newcomers, he quickly warms up, revealing his affectionate and loyal nature. Harlan is great with children and gets along well with other dogs, making him a sociable addition to any family. He’s fully potty trained, letting you know when he needs to go out, and can go all night without a bathroom break. Harlan is happy to stay home alone while you’re at work, usually sleeping in his own bed. While he has a few extra pounds at the moment due to missed walks, regular exercise will help him return to his ideal weight. Harlan’s ideal family will offer him the love and attention he deserves.
