About Sully
Meet Sully! Named after the gentle giant from Monsters Inc, this Great Pyrenees mix is about 5 years old, weighing around 95 lbs. Rescued from a shelter, he came with some health challenges, including flea dermatitis and heartworms. Thankfully, he's started treatment, and his beautiful fur will soon grow back. Sully has a calm and sweet demeanor, making him a hit with everyone he meets. He loves cuddling and often rests his head on laps, bringing joy to kids and adults alike. He’s fantastic with other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine companion to play with and learn from. As he grows more comfortable, his playful personality shines through. He enjoys rolling in the backyard, playing fetch, and getting zoomies. Sully is house trained and doesn’t have accidents indoors. He can be left alone for up to 8 hours while his foster family is at work. On walks, he behaves wonderfully on a leash, but keep an eye on your food; he might snitch a bite! Sully does have some anxiety from loud noises, particularly after the 4th of July fireworks. He’ll need some help with that, but with a little patience, he’ll be an incredibly loyal friend. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. SPIN Rescue will provide the necessary medication for his recovery. He’s truly a remarkable dog, and anyone who adopts Sully will be very lucky! Ready to give him the warm home he deserves?
