About Katie

Katie is a charming and affectionate 1-2 year old lynx point Siamese who is ready to find her forever home. Spayed and fully vetted, she is also FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all her vaccinations. After being rescued while pregnant and seeing her kittens find homes, Katie came to Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue hoping for a chance at a loving family. Though she’s friendly with her foster mom, Katie can be shy with newcomers. Patience will be key as she adjusts to a new environment; once she feels secure, she’ll become a loyal companion. Katie enjoys lounging around, especially on her beloved cat trees, so having one in her home is essential. She is not overly playful but loves to keep you company. Katie is litter box trained, has a neurological condition that causes a slight sway in her back end while walking, but this doesn’t slow her down. She’s great with other calm cats, but she would do best in a home without dogs or children. The adoption fee for Katie is $50, and you can meet her in Gurnee, IL. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
