About Opal

Meet Opal! Opal is a delightful 10-year-old Morkie, weighing in at just 6 lbs. Recently spayed, she has undergone a dental procedure and has had all her vaccinations updated. Despite her tough past—she was rescued from the streets after years of neglect—Opal’s spirit shines through in her affectionate nature. She readily gives kisses and craves companionship. Though she has a history of untreated ear infections, she remains sprightly and hasn't lost her hearing. Our vet has worked to alleviate her condition, and while periodic management will be necessary for her comfort, Opal continues to be a loving companion. She enjoys following her foster mom around and snuggling up on laps. Opal is house trained and enjoys her walks, but she does experience some anxiety when left alone, although she settles quickly. An ideal home for Opal would be one where someone is around most of the time to provide the affection she deserves. She is currently in Stamford, CT, and eager to find her forever home.
