About Tucker

Tucker is a 1.5-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever with a playful spirit and a strong build. He brings energy to playtime, especially when it comes to fetching a ball. While he loves to retrieve it, he tends to guard the ball instead of returning it right away, so a yard where he can run and play freely would be ideal. Tucker is very affectionate and enjoys belly rubs, quickly forming a bond with those who care for him. This young guy is sociable and gets along with other dogs, but he expects them to keep up with his playful antics. He hasn't mastered many basic commands and is still learning, particularly when it comes to leash manners as he can pull quite a bit. Although he's house trained, he doesn't enjoy being crated and can be a bit difficult in the car without proper barriers to ensure his safety. Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer organization, and Tucker is currently in foster care. If you think you're the right fit for him, be sure to fill out an application on their site.
