About Bertie
Bertie is a gentle senior boy seeking a peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years. After being surrendered to a shelter due to his owner's inability to care for him, he arrived at our rescue in need of significant care. His nails were severely overgrown and embedded in his paws, and he required dental work. Despite these challenges, he remained loving and loyal. Now around 14 years old and weighing just under 13 lbs, Bertie has received the vet care he needs and is in great shape for his age, aside from some arthritis in his hind legs. He loves to snuggle in a soft, cozy bed next to his person. While he can't jump on furniture, he's happy to be lifted up for nighttime cuddles with his foster mom. House trained and social, Bertie does fine around other dogs and cats, though he may bark if they're too in his face. He enjoys the company of people of all ages. Bertie’s adoption fee is covered to assist with his vet care. He truly deserves a loving home to relax and be cherished. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
