Buddi is a year-and-a-half-old Retriever mix looking for an active family to call his own. He’s ready to leave behind a past spent mostly on a tie-out and embrace life as a cherished companion. With a friendly demeanor, Buddi enjoys soaking up attention from people and shows an eagerness to learn. He performs well on a leash and already knows some basic commands. While he still has room to improve his manners, he responds positively to training and guidance, making him a great candidate for an owner who can provide consistency and encouragement. Active families will find Buddi to be the perfect outdoor buddy, whether for walking, hiking, or running. He generally gets along with other dogs but should be in a home without cats, as his instinct tends to lead him to chase them.
