About Hamilton

Meet Hamilton! This little guy came to us through our Community Cats program after spending his early days outside. Due to his limited human interaction, Hamilton will need a thoughtful transition into your home. Expect him to be shy at first, possibly hiding as he acclimates. We recommend confining him to a crate temporarily to help him feel secure while he explores his new surroundings. Not to worry if you don’t have a crate; we can lend you one until he's comfortable. As he adjusts, some backsliding in behavior might occur, but with patience, he will warm up. Using positive reinforcement, like feeding him treats or wet food while you gently pet him, can help Hamilton learn to trust. If you have another cat who’s friendly, they can assist him in feeling more at ease and less overwhelmed. This tiny tiger is ready for a calm, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to flourish. Let's make it official, apply to adopt!
