About Barrett
Barrett is a stunning medium-haired white and grey cat with a soft, cloudlike coat and gentle eyes. He carries a certain shyness and sensitivity, still learning to trust the world around him as he embraces life indoors. Though heās FIV+, it doesnāt deter him from seeking comfort and security with someone who understands his journey. Having faced challenges, including dental issues that led to the removal of half his teeth, Barrett is still adapting to a calm and predictable environment. He requires a patient adopter who recognizes that building trust takes time and small steps. With a serene atmosphere, he slowly reveals his sweet nature. Barrett thrives with gentle encouragement and will flourish in a loving, quiet space where he can set the pace. He needs a special someone who can appreciate his progress and celebrate even the tiniest victories. As he discovers the joys of being an indoor cat, heāll learn that safety and warmth are within reach. Since Barrett requires a unique adopter, his adoption fee has been waived. Heās available for meet-and-greets at the Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays and Sundays. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
