About Brighton
Brighton is a lovable young Maltese-Chihuahua mix currently in foster care in Norwalk, CT. This gentle soul, weighing around 11 lbs, has faced challenges with courage. He arrived at the shelter with serious injuries, resulting in the amputation of his right front leg. Despite this setback, Brighton has adapted remarkably well to life as a tripod and moves with ease, hopping into the car and onto the couch like a pro. He cherishes his time with his foster, following her everywhere, enjoying lap cuddles, and snuggling in bed at night. While he gets along with other dogs, he prefers a quieter existence and largely ignores the foster's cats. Brighton is house trained and proficient on a leash. He needs a nurturing home where he can receive all the love and care he deserves. An adoption fee of $400 ensures he’s ready for his new family, as all dogs are spayed/neutered, updated on vaccinations, microchipped, and on preventative treatments. Please note that Brighton is looking for an experienced owner and a home without children under the age of 8. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
