About Tilly
Meet Tilly, a charming Lab, Shepherd, and Husky mix. She arrived as an owner surrender, and while her transition has been challenging, this sweet girl is discovering the joys of new experiences every day. Tilly had very little socialization before coming to the shelter and was unfamiliar with a leash, so she’s navigating many "firsts" with gentle encouragement. Though Tilly can be shy and nervous in new situations, her affectionate nature shines through as she builds trust with those around her. She thrives on closeness and has an abundance of love to share. Tilly needs a patient family willing to support her confidence-building journey through positive reinforcement. It’s important to note that Tilly has a strong prey drive and is not suited for homes with small livestock. Additionally, she tested positive for Lyme disease, but many dogs with this condition can lead normal, happy lives with the right veterinary care and monitoring. Tilly is ready to learn what it truly means to be loved and cherished. If you have the heart to help her flourish, she could be the loyal companion you’ve been looking for.
