Rhodie is an energetic 8-month-old Redbone Coonhound mix weighing 40 lbs. Described by his foster mom as a goofy puppy, he's the type who loves to play and cuddle just as much. Rhodie gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, learning to respect their space when they’re not in the mood to play. His soft spot for stuffed toys is clear, although he tends to de-stuff them quickly, so opting for sturdier toys is best. Playing fetch is a favorite pastime; he typically brings the ball back, although he’s still mastering the art of releasing it. Squirrels in the backyard capture his attention, and while he gives climbing trees a good go, they remain safe for now. While Rhodie hasn't lived with children, he would likely do well with kids over six years old. His leash manners are decent, but he could use a bit more training.
