About Gracie

Gracie is a charming nine-year-old female Bichon Frise weighing about 17 pounds. After her human mom needed to move to a memory care center, she found her way to Friends of Petraits Rescue. This delightful little dog adores her walks and sometimes picks up the pace to a gentle jog. Gracie is housebroken when kept on a schedule and willingly goes into her crate, making mealtime quite organized. At home, she fits in beautifully, getting along well with other dogs and living harmoniously with cats. However, when out on walks, she tends to react to other dogs and people, so guidance from a trainer can help manage those interactions. Gracie loves to snuggle up on dog beds or the couch and enjoys rolling over for belly rubs during her cozy time in bed with you. Being a hypoallergenic breed, Gracie requires grooming every six weeks, but sheโ€™s well-behaved at the groomer. Sheโ€™s healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on all essential vaccinations, including a recent dental cleanup. If you're considering welcoming Gracie into your heart and home, please fill out an adoption application through the Friends of Petraits website to arrange a meeting. She comes with everything you need to care for her. Start your journey together! Apply now.
