Simpson is a 9-year-old Bichon Frise mix whoās only just starting to experience home life after years in a puppy mill. Weighing about 12 pounds, heās quiet, low energy, and prefers observing from a cozy spot. Simpson enjoys laps and gentle grooming sessionsāhe doesnāt shed, but his curly coat needs ongoing care to avoid matting. Regular ear cleaning is part of his routine, and he sits calmly for it. Despite his past, Simpson is remarkably affectionate; his tail wags for pets and heāll nuzzle in for cuddles and little kisses when youāre near. Heās still adjusting to the basics of pet life. Potty-training is ongoing, and leash walks are new to himāmostly he ambles around the yard, sometimes just content to lounge. Having another dog in the house could help him learn faster. Simpson is comfortable being left in a crate for a few hours, and he sleeps well at night curled up nearby. Heād do best in a quiet home, ideally with another gentle dog, and with people who understand his background. Fenced yards are a plus but not required.
