Meet Scoot, a remarkable survivor who has truly thrived! Scoot, once living on a farm filled with cats, faced dire circumstances when she was taken to an emergency vet suffering from a high fever. Unfortunately, her former owners couldn't afford the necessary care, but thankfully, TC Paw rescued her before it was too late. Named for her unique gait, a result of a previous injury, Scoot has adapted well after having her leg amputated. Despite her challenges, she remains jubilant and doesn’t let anything hold her back, though future monitoring for constipation may be necessary. This little lady is full of affection and is grateful to now be safe, warm, and well-fed. Initially found very thin and with matted fur, she has blossomed since her rescue and is now a charming companion known for making biscuits. Scoot loves attention and is particularly fond of canned food. As a tripod, she manages her mobility quite well and has solid balance despite missing a leg. Although she prefers to be on her own terms when picked up, she shows no aggression, simply eager to get back to her explorations. Accustomed to a multi-cat environment, Scoot appears unbothered by newcomers. It's important for Scoot to find a special home that understands her needs, as she'll never be an outdoor cat.
