About Chester

Chester has endured a challenging past, living neglected in a yard where harsh weather and insects plagued him. Upon arriving at the shelter, he was a quiet presence, resigned to his situation and not expecting attention. Despite this, I was determined to show him that life could be joyful and filled with love. When Chester got into the car, he was a bit unsure but sat quietly during the ride. At the ranch, he walked comfortably beside me and quickly adapted to his new kennel. It's heartwarming to see how grateful he is for simple comforts like air conditioning, a soft bed, and regular meals. He's a sweet soul who deserves so much more. Chester gets along well with other dogs, as long as they are calm and respectful. He's easily intimidated by loud, boisterous dogs. He has mastered the doggy door and is settling into car rides with ease. This gentle giant enjoys his walks and appreciates quiet time in the yard, ideally in a serene home. If you can offer Chester a loving environment filled with patience and compassion, please reach out or fill out our application. Thank you for considering this lovely boy.
