About Opal
Opal is a lovely Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever mix, around 12 years old and weighing 55 lbs. Rescued with her twin sister, Pearl, they’ve quickly settled into their foster home. Opal has the sweet temperament characteristic of Golden Retrievers and the calm demeanor of a Pyrenees, making her a delight to have around. She has mastered potty training without any accidents, does not show food or toy aggression, and gets along beautifully with other dogs and older children. Although she may bark at cats, she doesn’t chase them. Opal has developed a fondness for comfort, especially enjoying air conditioning, soft couches, and cozy beds. Joining in the playful antics of her canine companions, she also rides well in the car and confidently goes in and out of the house. This gentle soul continues to build her trust and will thrive in a home where her calm nature is appreciated. A fenced backyard is necessary, as well as a guardian who is home most of the day. Families with children aged 7 and up will find her to be an ideal match. Opal is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $495, and if you’re considering adopting both sisters together, the total fee is $795. Opal is ready to bring her affectionate personality into a forever home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
