About Munchkin
Meet Munchkin, our delightful special needs boy who is eager to find his forever home! As a paraplegic kitten, he lacks functioning hind limbs and requires daily bladder and bowel assistance. However, he doesn’t let that get in the way of his happiness. With the help of drag bags, he can zoom around, enjoying life to the fullest. Rescued from an overwhelmed owner, Munchkin faced many challenges upon arrival. Initially thought to have mild URI symptoms, he was soon found to have much more severe issues, including two deformed hind limbs and a serious upper respiratory infection. Radiographs indicated that amputation of one limb was necessary, and ongoing physical therapy may help the other. Despite these trials, Munchkin has shown incredible resilience. Now, six months later, he is a healthy and confident little guy who loves to play and enjoys showing off his fun drag bags and diapers. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Because he thrives in the company of other playful cats, Munchkin should either be adopted with another kitten from LIC Feral Feeders or into a home where a playful cat is already waiting. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
