About Gibson

Meet Gibson, a charming herding breed mix in search of his forever home. Gibson was previously adopted from ICAS but returned due to his family's struggle with his natural herding behaviors. While he enjoyed playing with their grandchildren, they found his playful nips a bit overwhelming. It's important to know that he never fully entered herding mode with the kids, and his family made the right choice to find him a more suitable environment. During his time with them, Gibson showcased some wonderful traits: he’s nearly housebroken, very lovable, and knows commands like "sit" and "stay." He’s looking for someone who understands herding breeds and can offer him the structure he needs to thrive. If you have experience with herding dogs or are eager to learn about their unique tendencies and playfulness, come meet this intelligent boy in person. His adoption fee is waived, and all adoptable dogs are spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Be sure to establish veterinary care after bringing him home. Meet-and-greets with other pets and children are always encouraged. This could be the start of something paw-some.
