About Sakari
Sakari came to Hearts United for Animals through a Best Friends transfer, with help from Dog Is My CoPilot. Sheβs looking for a patient family that will allow her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. This sweet girl can be shy around new people and in unfamiliar situations, so she prefers to take things slow as she learns who she can trust. Once Sakari forms a bond, she becomes incredibly loyal and often attaches deeply to her favorite person. She thrives with someone she can look to for comfort, and building that relationship may take a little time, but it's well worth the wait. Sakari walks wonderfully on a leash, enjoying exploring the world at a comfortable pace next to her trusted companion. A calm home with understanding adopters will help her gain confidence as she settles into her new life. She does get along with dogs, but she would prefer a home without children. Sakari has a gentle spirit that deserves a chance to shine. Click apply to start the adoption process.
