About Sarge
Meet Sarge. Some dogs have a way of capturing your heart, and Sarge is certainly one of them. His journey began in Oklahoma, where he was found all alone in a ditch, weighing only about three pounds. Thankfully, a kind person rescued him, cared for him, and brought him to Massachusetts in search of a better life. In foster care, Sarge quickly stole his foster family's hearts, leading to him being an instant foster fail—they simply couldn't let him go. Sadly, due to an unexpected family tragedy, they had to return him, and now Sarge is looking for another family to love. He appears to be a Retriever mix with the sweetest, gentlest soul. Sarge is a bit shy and submissive initially but becomes incredibly loving when he knows he’s safe. He gets along beautifully with people, dogs, and even cats, making him the type of rare dog who wishes to be everyone's friend. If you’re searching for a kind, loyal companion with a heart as expansive as his story, Sarge might be the perfect match for you.
