Meet Kimora Blac, a spayed female mixed-breed dog weighing around 50 lbs. At approximately 2 years old, she’s an energetic girl who is eager to explore the outdoors. While she can be enthusiastic on the leash, some practice with her walking manners will help her shine. In the yard, she started off a bit bouncy but quickly warmed up, enjoying pets and even dishing out a few sweet kisses. Notably, she showed great focus, completely ignoring nearby birds despite the distractions. Kimora is food motivated, which will make training both enjoyable and fruitful. She has already learned to 'sit,' and she takes treats gently, although sometimes she needs a bit of encouragement. During our time together, she displayed her playful side with adorable zoomies indoors, even if toys didn’t initially catch her attention. It’s important to note that the shelter environment made her feel a bit anxious; she paced and occasionally panted nervously. However, she was able to settle and enjoy quiet affection once she relaxed. With a calm, loving home, I believe her confidence will blossom and her wonderful personality will truly shine. Kimora seems non-reactive to dogs nearby and might do well with a fur sibling with proper introductions. She has unknown behavior with children and cats, making a gradual introduction essential.
