Meet Andre, the big, goofy lovebug you've been waiting for! This 105-pound, 7.5-year-old Great Pyrenees and Husky mix has a larger-than-life personality and an even bigger heart. He’s the kind of guy who wants to follow you from room to room, flopping over for belly rubs with all four paws in the air. Andre has excellent house manners and is both house-trained and crate-trained. Just say 'kennel,' and he happily heads to his cozy spot. He knows commands like sit, down, and place, and is eager to learn more, especially when treats are involved. While generally low-energy at home, Andre gets bursts of excitement during his walks or when something catches his eye. He's currently honing his leash manners since he tends to pull when excited, but he enjoys daily walks and playing tug-of-war with his rope toy. Great news for families: Andre does well with children and is good with cats. He takes a moment to warm up to people, but a treat quickly melts his heart. He can be vocal at times, especially when he sees a visitor or hears sounds outside, but is responsive to guidance. Andre wouldn’t thrive in busy dog parks as he can feel overwhelmed by high-energy interactions. However, with calm introductions, he may be suited for a household with another pet. With his lovable, goofy nature, Andre has been known to stop people in their tracks just to appreciate his handsomeness.
