About Eddie Apr
Eddie is ready to find his forever home! This lively little Pekingese is just a baby, with an adventurous spirit and a desire for playtime. At 11 weeks old, he's already showing confidence, enjoying the company of his sister Winnie and introducing himself to larger pups. Although he’s the biggest of his litter, he’s gentle with his siblings. Right now, he’s mastering the art of using pee pads and isn't quite ready for leashes or harnesses yet. Eddie has some unique challenges. He has bilateral inguinal hernias but can have those corrected when he’s older during his neuter procedure. Until then, he needs a family that understands the commitment of raising a young puppy. Be prepared for regular potty breaks and the energy that comes with a young dog — puppies thrive with mental and physical stimulation. It's best for Eddie to be in a home with another small, active dog and someone who is home more than not. They thrive in an environment that includes training, structure, and plenty of playtime. Eddie likely will do well with cats if socialized properly. If you think you're the right match for this little guy, consider applying to adopt him! Your new best friend is just one click away.
