About Jack
Jack is a 4-year-old Pekingese with a soft, striking tan and black long coat. He lost one eye to an old injury, but it hardly slows him down—he bounces around and sunbathes with the confidence of a dog who knows who he is. Jack thrives on attention and is an expert cuddler. He’ll eagerly claim a spot in your lap, soaking up belly rubs and doling out plenty of kisses. This little companion loves his downtime on the couch as much as he loves playful bursts outdoors, chasing toys and exploring any grassy patch he can find. Smart and treat-motivated, Jack picks up commands fast and is both house trained and does well on leash. He’s adjusting well to life in foster care. Jack does not get along with cats, but he’s good with children, making him a fit for families without felines who want a loving, playful pup. He’s neutered and up to date on vaccines, and his foster mom says his positive attitude makes him a joy to have around. Bonus: Jack is a Taurus, bringing loyal, steady vibes to any home he joins.
