Meet Benson, a lively 4-month-old male Maltipoo looking for a forever home in Wheaton, IL. Weighing in at just 6.2 pounds, he’s a spirited little guy with a big personality. Benson and his brother Austin are inseparable; they thrive on each other's companionship and love playing with every dog they meet. While they were rescued from a puppy mill and can be shy around new people, they've shown great improvement since joining the ARF family. Benson is praise-worthy with other dogs and enjoys a fun play session, whether it's with little or big friends. Currently, he sleeps peacefully in his crate at night, though he may whine just a bit when he’s adjusting, he’s generally quiet through the night. He’s still learning house training but is picking up the routine quickly. This pup is micro-chipped, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. It’s a requirement for his new family to complete a basic obedience course of their choice. Keeping Benson and Austin together is strongly encouraged as they rely on one another while navigating their new world.
