About Spike

Meet Spike, a charming 7-year-old Chihuahua who’s ready for a fresh start after being surrendered by his elderly owner. Having spent most of his life outdoors with his brother Loki, he's now embracing the cozy indoor life. Spike is friendly and loves being around people, showing a zest for connection. He’s currently working on shedding a few extra pounds and getting accustomed to his collar and leash, although he’s still figuring out house training. Spike enjoys being near Loki, and while he's learning to appreciate indoor comforts like a soft bed, he sometimes marks his territory inside, a habit we’re working on together. He doesn’t have a strong interest in toys, preferring the companionship of his brother instead. Spike is adjusting well to his new surroundings and is eager to continue learning about home life. He gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children, making him an ideal family member. Are you ready to help Spike discover the joys of being an indoor dog? What are you waiting for?
