About Sugar
Meet Sugar! This 2-year-old mixed breed dog weighs around 20 lbs and was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico before arriving in New Jersey on June 27th. She is currently settling into her foster home in Connecticut, eager to find her forever family. With her charming little ears and gentle nature, Sugar is certain to win you over. Although she remains a bit timid, sheโs steadily gaining confidence. Sugar is improving on the leash and is doing well with house training, showing her crate-trained skills, too. She enjoys the company of other dogs but prefers those who respect her space. Given her shy demeanor, a calm home without young children would be ideal for her. Sugar is searching for a patient family that will support her journey as she blossoms in her new environment. The trust and affection you'll foster with this sweet girl are well worth the wait. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
