Currently thriving in her foster home in New York, Shakira is ready for her forever family. Shakira is playful and smart, with a personality reminiscent of a puppy. She enjoys adventures but also knows how to unwind in her crate after a fun day. Fully potty trained, she has adapted well to her new life and is doing wonderfully in foster care. Like many rescue dogs, Shakira is gradually building her confidence and may have a few anxious moments. Her love for affection is evident, and she’s becoming more comfortable every day—she even hopped up on the couch by herself for the first time recently!
