Meet Bambi, an 8-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix with a gentle, easygoing personality. Weighing in at about 21 pounds, she embodies the essence of a true companion dog. Bambi loves cuddling with her humans, feeling happiest when she's by your side, whether you're lounging at home or setting off for a car ride—one of her favorite adventures. Her foster mom describes Bambi as friendly, happy, and remarkably loyal. Despite being occasionally nervous during thunderstorms, she seeks comfort during storms, often wanting to snuggle up in a cozy blanket with her person close by. Bambi has made significant progress with her house-training, though she may have an accident in stressful situations. Bambi gets along well with other small dogs and would appreciate a canine buddy. Although she hasn't interacted with children in her current home, we believe she would do best with respectful older kids who can understand her need for space. Currently, she is working on her leash manners, improving little by little each day. With patience and love, she will gain the confidence she needs. Her minimum adoption fee is $300, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents.
