Blitz is a lively young pug, around 3 years old, currently in Torrington, CT. He’s just finished recovering from his neuter surgery and is bursting with energy. Blitz thrives in the company of other dogs and has a fondness for children, especially those aged 10 and up. However, he does not do well with younger kids or cats. He’s been working on adjusting to his new environment and has shown great progress, from mastering the doggie door to happily playing fetch with his foster family. Although he has moments of anxiety, Blitz is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves to be part of the action. He is learning to share toys and can be a bit possessive over high-value items, so older kids who respect boundaries will be ideal companions for him. Despite his high energy levels, he does enjoy quiet moments, especially when he feels secure. His appetite is improving slowly, and he's developed a taste for Greek yogurt mixed with kibble, which he eagerly devours. As he continues to settle in, we are hopeful that his confidence will grow.
