About Isla
Isla is a striking Great Dane, just shy of her first birthday. She came to the rescue after her previous owners surrendered her following an accidental litter. Her remaining puppy is also in care, though not yet available for adoption. Though Isla can be timid with new people and dogs, she quickly warms up and becomes a loyal companion. Being a big girl, she's still mastering her size, making her slightly clumsy at times. In her foster home, she's free to roam and has shown no interest in chewing on non-toys or having accidents inside. It took her a little while to adjust to the canine companions in her foster home, but now she enjoys brief play sessions before lounging next to her human. Isla knows basic commands, like sit, and is good on the leash. She hasn’t been tested around cats or children yet. Vaccinations are current, with her first shots given recently, and she will be spayed at our partner veterinarian when the time is right. Ready to give Isla the loving home she deserves?
