About Rocko
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Rocko, a sweet senior Great Dane/Lab mix with a heart of gold. This gentle old soul is about 9 years old and has made an inspiring recovery from being underweight—now healthy and around 75 pounds. Rocko loves slow walks, relaxing car rides, and the simple joy of curling up for a nap on his bed. He's a big fan of his dental chews and happily shows off his good manners by sitting patiently for them. Rocko is the definition of a polite house guest, with no accidents and a comfort level in his kennel. He strives to please and makes every effort to show his appreciation for care and love. Although non-reactive outside, Rocko prefers to be the only dog in the home or to have very slow introductions to other dogs, as he enjoys having his humans' attention all to himself indoors. He does get along with cats. All Rocko wants is a family ready to provide the love, care, and gentle affection he's missed out on. If you're searching for a devoted, calm companion that's eager to soak up all your love, Rocko will quickly become your cherished friend. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
