About Albus

Meet Albus, a gentle giant with a heart to match. Rescued in March 2026 from the euthanasia list at Miami-Dade Animal Services, he was originally found as a stray and is now safe in foster care, eagerly awaiting his forever family. Albus shines around children and boasts a calm, easygoing personality. He loves to lounge at home like an old man, but also enjoys watching the world go by or chasing butterflies in the yard. While he's not high-energy, he is strong and may pull on the leash, so a home with a fenced yard or someone committed to continuing his leash training would be best. Albus generally ignores other dogs, but he would thrive as the only dog or with another calm companion. He's not fond of cats, so a cat-free home is ideal. If you're in search of a loyal, affectionate friend who's an equal mix of couch potato and backyard adventurer, Albus could be your perfect match. Ready to fall in love?
