Whether he’s chewing on bully sticks, lounging in the sun, or playing with his foster brother, Hugo is discovering the joys of being a beloved pet. He comfortably sleeps in his crate at night and is already learning the ropes. Hugo walks well on a leash and is mastering commands like 'sit.' He enjoys mellow energy activities, taking short walks, and cuddling with his foster humans on the couch. Hugo does great with other small dogs and needs a canine buddy in his forever home to help him thrive. While he's still working on potty training and building trust with humans, his progress has been heartwarming. Hugo is not yet familiar with cats or children, making his energy level perfectly suited for a calm household.
