About Cooper
Cooper is a charming 2-year-old, 13-pound Yorkie mix with a soft black and gold coat that matches his gentle heart. He's a true companion, preferring to stay right by your side, following you from room to room before settling down for a cozy nap. One of his endearing quirks is lounging on the back of the couch, keenly observing everything around him. Having adjusted seamlessly to his foster home, Cooper is house trained with regular walks and crate trained, sleeping soundly through the night. While he’s not fond of the crate, he settles down comfortably. He enjoys a couple of short walks each day for potty breaks but is equally happy relaxing indoors with his favorite person. Though he's not heavily into toys, he occasionally enjoys fetching a tennis ball. Cooper thrives on companionship and would prefer a home where someone is often present. He handles alone time fairly well, greeting you calmly when you return. He does bark at passersby outside and may bark at new visitors initially but relaxes quickly. On walks, Cooper tends to be reactive around strangers or other dogs; he’d benefit from quieter walking spaces and a patient adopter to help build his confidence. While he adores smaller dogs, he sometimes feels uneasy around larger ones, so a calm small dog companion or being your only pet could suit him best. If you’re seeking a loyal and affectionate little shadow who will shower you with love and seek out snuggles, Cooper could be the dog for you! With a bit of patience and continued guidance, this devoted little guy will reward you with endless companionship and love. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
