About Smokey
Meet Smokey! Smokey is a delightful pup whose personality truly shines. At just one year old and weighing 12 pounds, this Miniature Schnauzer is energetic and full of life, making him a great fit for an active family. He loves outdoor adventures, whether it's playing fetch, chewing on his favorite bone, or frolicking with his foster brother. Smokey enjoys long walks and is particularly drawn to birds, often trying to chase them as they flutter by. After a fun-filled day, he loves to wind down with some cuddles in the evening. Friendly and outgoing, Smokey greets new people with excitement, standing on your legs for a few kisses and plenty of attention. He’s also adjusting to house training; a consistent schedule will help him learn. Smokey is crate-trained and does well overnight, remaining quiet in his kennel. Smart and eager to please, he would thrive with continued obedience training. He already knows "kennel up" and is learning "sit" and "stay." Smokey gets along well with other dogs, enjoying playtime and evening relaxation with them. He's best suited for a home that understands the Schnauzer breed, can meet his grooming needs, and provide the physical and mental stimulation he craves. Smokey is not recommended for first-time dog owners due to his energetic nature. If you're seeking a joyful companion to bring love and laughter into your home, Smokey is ready to meet you!
