About Vyvanse
Meet Vyvanse, or Vance as we like to call him—a sweet little shadow seeking a warm place to call home. At 12 years old and about 8.5 pounds, this laid-back gentleman has no urge to be in charge. He easily gets along with both children and other dogs, preferring to follow their lead and just go with the flow. Vance cherishes being near his people, moving from room to room, and letting you know when he wants to join you on the couch. Recently, he came to us needing care for a bladder stone and a urinary tract infection, which he’s now managing well with specialized food. Along with a dental procedure, Vance has only one tiny tooth left. He’s healing from a jaw fracture and will need to eat wet food until that’s all better. Sometimes, he marks when entering new spaces, but he does well with a belly band. Vance is also kennel trained, walks nicely on a leash, and exudes warmth and affection. Meals should be fed separately from other dogs since he shows some resource guarding, but outside of mealtime, he happily coexists with his furry friends. Vance can fit into so many different households—whether it’s with children, a couple, or a single person looking for a loyal companion. His biggest wish is to love and be loved, following you around and curling up beside you on the couch. Could you be that special person for him? 💙 Start your journey together! Apply now.
