Lilith is an active young girl looking for a fresh start and a loving forever home. At about 3.5 years old, this Hound/Terrier mix weighs around 45 pounds. Lilith can be selective with her dog friends, so a long integration process may be needed for her to adjust. She would do best in a home without young children. While she hasn't been tested with cats, the team is ready to provide guidance on introducing her to them. Residing at a boarding partner in the DC area, Lilith enjoys running at the park and playing in the water—she's full of that youthful energy! Having previously raised two adorable puppies, she is eager for someone to show her the same love she provided to them. Current training efforts are focused on leash walking, as she learns not to pull and becomes more comfortable with people. Lilith had tested positive for heartworms in the past but has since been treated and is ready for an active life. Long-term, she should do well as long as she remains on preventive medication.
