About Violet
Violet is a lovely girl who seems to look right into your soul. At about 5 years old, she likely has a mix of Labrador and Kelpie in her. When she first arrived at K9 Kindness, the future was uncertain for this sweet dog. A significant growth near her tail raised concerns, and her foster family was prepared for the worst. Then, in a stroke of luck, surgery revealed no cancer cells present in the mass, a true miracle for Violet. Now she’s set to get spayed, and she’s ready to find her forever home. Her foster family is already feeling the sadness of saying goodbye because Violet has charmed them entirely. She adores attention, whether she’s cuddling in a cozy bed or soaking up affection on the couch. During the Fourth of July fireworks, she sought comfort from her foster mom by climbing into her lap, showing just how much love she craves. Violet is house and crate trained with excellent manners; she won’t jump on furniture unless invited. She loves other dogs but prefers calm companions who respect her space. While she can be initially unsure about new visitors, she warms up quickly. Due to an old leg injury, she's most comfortable in a relaxed setting rather than going on strenuous hikes. She enjoys leisurely strolls, a soft bed, and, of course, lots of love. One of Violet's most endearing qualities is her cheerful greeting every time you come home, complete with a joyful smile and adorable little snorts that can brighten any day. After everything she has been through, Violet deserves a family that will cherish her for the incredible dog she is. Violet is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She will have a dental before adoption. The adoption fee is $300. To meet her, please submit an application at the K9 Kindness website. Note that we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.
