About Pander

Meet Pander! Pander, previously known as Panda, is adjusting well to his new name. He came to us after his previous living arrangement wasn't a safe fit, especially concerning a child under 12. While he did well with an older child, Pander struggled with the other. After arriving at the shelter, he was understandably scared, so we sent him to a foster home where he began to thrive and show his true joyful self. He’s quite a character—always smiling, he loves to nudge for pets and may even jump into your lap for some affection. One of his favorite pastimes is looking out the window, which he could do for hours. Pander enjoys his walks, is house trained and crate trained, and loves a mix of yard sniffing and cozy couch time. While he may be a bit shy during first encounters, he opens up into a bundle of love once in a home. Pander is a Beagle Rat Terrier mix and could benefit from shedding a few pounds to reach his healthiest self. He can't wait to find his new family! This handsome boy is located in Salisbury, MD.
