Initially, her coat was so matted that she needed a complete shave to feel comfortable, but now she's strutting around like a brand-new little lady. Sushi is incredibly affectionate and loves meeting new people. She gets along well with other dogs who respect her space, and she has also shown no issues with cats. Given her petite size, she needs a home with older, dog-savvy kids who understand how to interact gently with smaller pets. While she has a playful spirit, enjoying her toys and playtime, she also has a charming, tiny bark that can bring a smile to anyone's face. Sushi previously relied on potty pads but is now learning a consistent outdoor routine. Since she’s not much of a leash walker, a securely fenced yard is a must for her safety. Furthermore, she has a low-grade luxating patella in her right rear leg, which doesn’t slow her down or require medical treatment. Sushi is searching for a loving family who will cherish her forever, one that understands the needs of tiny dogs—cozy laps, soft beds, and regular grooming are just part of the deal.
