A professional cuddler and a full-time love bug, Sally believes personal space is overrated. If you want a pup who craves closeness, look no further. Sally's past wasn't always so bright. Found living under a trailer with her puppies, she was neglected by an owner who failed to care for her. She wandered the neighborhood, searching for food to feed herself and her babies until kind neighbors stepped in. Eventually, they helped her find a safe place to stay, and now she is thriving in a loving foster home. Sally embodies pure, unconditional love in a 30-pound package. She's incredibly affectionate, always wanting to snuggle close. If it were up to her, she'd curl up in the crook of your neck every night. She adores everyone, especially kids, and gets along well with other dogs—though she does prefer slow introductions. While she loves companionship, she'd also be happy being your one-and-only. As a clever cattle dog, Sally learns quickly. She easily picked up on potty training and leash walking, and while she's currently working on crate training, she hasn't exhibited any destructive behavior. Once settled in her forever home, crating may not even be necessary. At about a year old, Sally has an old soul. Despite her rough start, she's calm and appreciates the good things in life. She’ll happily join you for hikes, road trips, or neighborhood walks, but she also treasures quiet time on the couch with her favorite people. Sally has endured enough worry about food and shelter.
