About Drennan
Drennan is a charming 59 lb. neutered male, about 2 years old. Those ears of his are absolutely delightful! He enjoys leisurely walks and loves to sniff around during his adventures. However, he tends to be wary of door thresholds, stopping at every one. Treats motivate him, helping him overcome his hesitation. Initially, Drennan can be a bit jumpy when food is involved, but he’s learning to keep all fours on the ground. With some patience, he’s figured out how to sit gently for treats. While toys don’t currently interest him, he adores affection. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll nudge for more pets and cuddles, showing a sweet side that emerges as he relaxes. He’s a good boy looking for someone who can take their time with him. Drennan doesn’t seem reactive towards nearby dogs, which suggests he could thrive with a furry sibling—the key will be a slow and careful introduction. While his behavior with cats and children isn’t known, Drennan is eager for a loving home where he can continue to blossom. The shelter environment can be overwhelming, so it's important to allow Drennan a few days to decompress. Click apply to start the adoption process.
